only meteohub or....?

When I use a sheevaplug for meteohub, will it become a dedicated device or can I also run other programms, deamons ftp servers, etc on the sheeva?
Will meteohub run as a deamon (a hidden programm)?

Meteohub takes over complete control.
When you add additional services these might confict with Meteohub application and/or make trouble when updating Meteohub to coming versions.

Idea behind that is a dedicated 24/7 stand-alone weather server.

Is there no other way to add the meteohub software to the Sheevaplug? I own one (which runs debian from a SD-card) but I don't want to buy another just to run meteohub.
