Weird things after a restore

Hi all, recently the USB key after an update decided to give up, then I have reinstalled meteohub and restored and old .backup file that I have (I have forget to backup it frequently :( ).
Now I have a strange behaviour I tried to change the default IP address and after getting it not changed for a couple of time, I discovered that now my nslu2 now have two IP binded to the network inteface, http myweb is working on both but the web interface not.
The data is collected but there's no ssh daemon running and then I can't get it back workin' in the right way (now I will try to get rid of the interfaces from another PC).

It can be something related to the restore ??

If I would like to reinstall everything and get the data back but not from a restore I have a way to do it ??

First none of my business but you would have seen usually TE is very helpful but in your case its pretty silent...

coz its like one long para which confuses hell ... since u need a solution retype make some bullets or tell things one by one...

from little i read...

just open your pc, unplug compnents specially RAM and reinsert... if problem persists change RAM slot ... rest should not happen.... manytimes its as small RAM loose connections
