Help - Sensors not logging in 4.6b - SOLVED

Post by gm4jjj »

Since updating to 4.6b this morning I cannot get the data logging to work.
The Oregon WMR-100n console is picking up the sensors, but I get Last Signal 'never' in the Sensors area of Meteohub.
I have rebooted, and Process says Weather Data Logging is running but last data: never.
Weather Station area shows correct USB HID device connected.

Does not appear to be any data being received from console over the USB!

Any ideas?

Can I get back to 4.6a?

Have 'reset' the WMR100N and data is flowing again. - Whew!
That was scary.

I don't have one myself, but I understand that the WMR100N USB connection is subject to occasional problems (solved by a reset) regardless of what is taking the data. I think it's been the subject of much discussion on the Weather-Watch forum over the years... :(

Thanks David.

I read that also and had thought mine was OK but apparently not. Will have to keep a close eye on it.

How is the energy meter coming along?

The CC128 plug-in script is ready to go, but I've held back on releasing it as there is now a possibility that there may be "native" support.

If you want to contact me via e-mail (see link at bottom of my weather website) I can let you have a copy of the script and some install notes.

Thanks David, I have not ordered the unit yet, but will do so very soon.
