Weather underground problem

since sunday I have not been able to send data to weather underground.
Sunday afternoon lightening blew the safety trip on our electrical system and on resetting the NSLU2 everything seemed to work except I had no WAN IP.
Reset to static IP and now have IP address.
Everything else works and I can access everything.

The usb stick does seem to be flashing all the time and I wonder if the lightening could have damaged it.
Have tried most things suggested in the forum but am getting nowhere.
Any help will be most welcome.

Everything working fine now, silly me had saved the weather Undergrund page in favourites and was not updating.
