Datasector on 4GB CF Card

Hi

What is the capacity of a 4GB CF-Card for weatherdata-storage? Acutally my datasector is:

114MB von 2756MB belegt (4%)

after 40 days of recording a Davis (5 min Interval).

Is there the posibility to use larger CF-Cards oder use external USB-Disks?

4GB will last for 5 years or more.
You can use larger cards. Put the 4GB image on that and growth 3rd partition via fdisk (I don't recommend this to a novice, as you can easily delete your CF card by this) and grow ext3 file system on 3rd partition with "resize2fs" after that.
