Did you try a "Top" quality USB cable like this http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage. ... _Id=128024

This cable has internal protection and the shielding is excellent.
Checking the remote....

I also tried it with a really expensive USB cable (20 Euro), same behaviour.

It´s definetely related to the USB plug in the Sheeva.

If i connected the Weather station directly to a PC i had no troubles.
