Re:Error messages
Thanks Boris
Will have to get a new USB stick and start all over again
I seem to be replacing these on a regular basis so I will try and find a better quality one and hope it will last more than a few months.
With the cost of a USB stick and the frequency that I seem to replace them I ought to take a new look at Meteoplug as a possible option.

The OCZ Rally2 Turbo is supposed to contain SLC flash chips. Note the Rally2 (no Turbo) thumb drive only contains MLC chips! The price difference between the two drive types is very exteme.
Good luck finding a 4 GB or less sized drive though. They just seem to have been dropped from production. I think 8 GB-sized drives are available.
My OCZ Rally2 Turbo is a year and a half old and still functioning. A OCZ Rally2 drive only lasted two months.
