Update 4.6j

Update to Meteohub V4.6j (NSLU2, x86, SheevaPlug) brings these features:

• adds weather network "regiowetter-bw"
• adds min/max values for transport of data to weather network wedaal
• heals situation that wd- and wswin export files might start with some not populated values when there is no fresh weather data there during first minutes of the selection period. By starting the data computation 10 minutes before the requested time frame, all values should be filled with "historical" data and first exported records have that data, even when no fresh data is present.
• sets max temperature to handle up to 200°C to allow for some home automation monitoring purposes
• gets more sensible to ignore bad data records from ws300 - ws888 type of stations

Hallo Boris,

habe gestern das Update durchgeführt. Seitdem funktioniert das senden von Wetterdaten an Wetternetzwerke nicht mehr!
Die Dateien auf meinem Server werden per FTP korrekt erstellt. Nur das direkte Senden, zB an Wedaal funktioniert seit dem Update nicht mehr.

Bitte mal überprüfen.

Bin jetzt zurück auf Version I, und alles geht wie vorher.
Kannst gerne mal mit Patrick von Wedaal Kontakt aufnehmen. Ich wollte die Statistik bei Wedaal "aktivieren".
Aber die anderen Wetternetzwerke gingen auch nicht mehr (wetter.com, wetterpage24.de usw.)

When selecting weather network "wedaal" this resulted into a segmentation fault. I made a hot fix with 4.6j on that. Please just update again. New build numbers are:
* Sheevaplug: 132
* x86: 3652
* NSLU2: 140

Ob automatisch oder hier runtergeladen wird 4.6j (Build 3616) ausgegeben. Bei mir funktioniert die Übertragung zu den Wetternetzwerke nicht

Build number will not change compared to first 4.6j version, because I just replaced the weather network upload component.

You can also do the update with auto update function, 4.6j can update to 4.6j until next update comes out.

Hi, I've updated to 4.6j this week and have found I now suffer a problem of corruption in the weather station name field. I've re entered it several times and changed the name also. I've just run the upgrade again from the maintenance page with no improvement. The corruption is being passed to the WDL screen.

The result is that is inserts one or more ^ symbols along with any of the space charters I use. Everything was fine with 1.6h.

Has anyone got an idea of the cure please.

Yes I have that same problem with my station name. The blanks are converted to "_" when entered into the NSLU2 meteohub and then into "^" characters as they are passed to WDL.

In addition, I'm not sure the humidity and windchill indices are actually being written to my website for WDL from my VP2. They work when Display & Save is used, but don't seem to be uploaded.

Wird in der nächsten Version auch bzgl. Wedaal (Statistik) aktualisiert, oder wird es aus technischen Gründen nicht realisiert?

Hi, I addition to the corruption of the weather station field name highlighted on the 16th July I've now found that the rain fall is greatly misreporting. Looking at the .txt file again it seems to be a problem with the 4.6j update. All was fine before that.

Any help asap please would be good.

Return code is ok, so there is nothing more I can do. When the wedaal developer give me additional hints what to change, I am glad to implement. Would be great if the api would give some meaningful return codes,/messages when format is not recognized. At the moment I can just guess.

Have you done a recomputation?
Can you please drill down the problem a bit more (comparing raw data to what you see in graphs for example), as at the moment I just get the message that "there is a problem with rain". Hard to fix that without details

you can also go back to 4.6i by installing that update manually.
