- Adds an optional map feature to show station and weather data on a map. Needs upload to Meteoplug. When you upload weather data to Meteoplug an have a map name defined you will find your station as a blue marker (registered Meteoplug users as a red Marker) on this map. Registered Meteoplug user can also adapt the map to their individual demands by newly introduced Meteoplug map creation features. I started populating the map with my station in "Lentföhrden" first. You are welcome to join.
- Vantage users: Meteohub reports "Forecast Icons" (pos 89 in LOOP packet) to WD-Live on pos 48 in "clientraw.txt" file.
- Fixes the underscore station name issue with WD-Live export.

Hi ,
I have just updated to 4.6K
I have also managed to register myself on your new map feature
But I did not understand how to : "Registered Meteoplug user can also adapt the map to their individual demands by newly introduced Meteoplug map creation features"
Secondly , I think you must post a link on your web site for the MAP to make it more visible.

Re: Update 4.6k
Each Meteoplug user can make the map look a bit different (zoom factor to start with, center of the map, what values to display at the right info window). What you see in the example is the standard map definition stored as "_map" and available to all Meteoplug users.
More details here: http://wiki.meteoplug.com/Gallery#Maps
Meteohub users who just use Meteoplug data upload didn't had a benefit from doing so up to now. May be the map feature gives something interesting back to pure Meteohub users. I find it quite interesting what kind of stations and hardware we are using. When the map fills up by more voulanteers, this also gives an impression where in the world Meteohub/Meteoplug is used and which rig is used.
The whole map thing is very much in the beginning. I am interested in your opinion how to go on with it. There are plenty of options. Once being a bit more populated, I will position the link more visible to the public.

Re: Update 4.6k
Just give a station name on settings page of your meteohub.

Re: Update 4.6k
This maps function is intersting
However I would prefer it you make a link for it on your website.
For example, imagine typing "www.meteohub.de" and then clicking the "MAPS" section to see the map and the other users weather details
do you undertand what I'm trying to say ?

Re: Update 4.6k
Hi Boris, since I installed 4.6K my rainrate and rainfall has changed by a factor of ±4.
I use a funnel and with factor 0,255, but apparently that doesn't work in the new version.
See my rainrate graph:
The spike in july should be 120,6 mm/hr.

Re: Update 4.6k
looks like a bug. I will try to find out what is going wrong here shortly.
Re: Update 4.6k
I made a hot fix to update 4.6k. Just update again and you get the fixed version.
As I don't have access to me test rig until Thursday, I would like to ask you to give it a test drive. After having installed the update, please make changes to you calibration settings and press save. This is needed to write the calibration info into a file again, which is then used by recomputation process.

Re: Update 4.6k
As far as I can see all is ok now, but looking at your new map I get wrong data for my station.
I'm now recalculating, so maybe in a few hours that's also fixed... will let you know!

Re: Update 4.6k
I began having problems with automatic update with 4.6j. I can't update to 4.6k using software update (auto) or either file or web methods at all, after several attempts at each. With auto, I get a response "Downloading update 4.6k failed!". It likewise doesn't work when I download the update file and place it in the transfer directory of the Meteohub volume whether I navigate to it or place the path to it in the file window.
I'm using a Mac, OS 10.6.4, an Apple Time Capsule as a router.
I've also been getting error messages "no response from weather underground" several times a day. My first thought there is to swap in a Linksys router in place of the Apple product.

Re: Update 4.6k
I am trying the Map, but the Yearly data it is producing for my station is not correct? (I am the only one in Scotland, UK).
