Weather Icons

Post by cd0085 »

Hi there,

This may be a stupid question, but I was wondering whether or not the extra weather icons are in use of there for allowing future upgrades.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi,
my English is too limited to fully understand your questiuon. I will try an answer...

Roman gave me permission to use his icons with the Meteohub application. This permission is not bound to any versions. If you are interested to use the icons with other software programs, please contact Roman. I doubt that he will see problems there, but I cannot speak for him.

If you find icons you like more, you can easily replace these. But then it is your obligation to check for copyright violations for yourself.

The now defined weather icons are taking into account all the forecasts the stations supported by meteohub do deliver (nightly icons for WMR-200, light/strong rain/snow for TE-923, etc).

I hope this answers your question. if not, please try asking again ;-)

Ah I see, that does indeed answer my question.

Is there anyway some algorithm could be included in meteohub to expand the weather prediction facility of the origninal weather station.

e.g. mine is a wmr 928 so only uses the sunny, cloudy or raining icons. It would be good if this could be expanded via meteohub to include snow, light rain, sunny intervals and the night time icons.

What do you think?

Thanks,

Chris
