New Meteohub will not operate ** solved **

My new (received it 3 days ago) meteohub will not operate from the USB Stick that came with it.:(

I made a new stick with a demo version and it works fine...although it is a \"DEMO\" .

I bought this from Ambientweather.com and will be calling them today to see if they can replace the USB stick.

Meteohub is great idea...looking forward to using it.:cheer:

if you have it working on your stick and just need an activation code, i can provide you this.

please send an email to info(at)meteohub.de\" that contains the MAC of your NSLU2 (displayed on the Meteohub \"system information\" page).

Thanks for the quick reply. I got the activation code from support at Ambientweather.com .
Howver I go have another question- I cannot access the meteohub from my computers. I can see it in the network neighborhood but when I try to connect it wants a username and password. I tried the same user name and password used to connect to it via the web interface but it does not work. Using Vers 2.3 now.
This appears in the smb server log:

Hi,
pc-network share only operates with the standard username and password. changes in the password for the web interface will not apply here.

user: meteohub
pw: meteohub

does this work?

To access that folder just try meteohub as username and password - regardless of what you have set for the web interface.

I finally managed to connect... This makes no sense to me, but, by creating a shortcut to the metohub allowed the connection..like I said weird but then again...

Thanks for you help..I many questions but will try to read and find answers before asking for help...I like to figure things out the hard way sometimes.
