Start up Meteohub

Post by Taz »

Starting up a new USB stick with a new image. Everything starts up OK, activation accepted and so on but I dont know where to select my weather station. On the tab "weather station" the NSLU has found it in the box "availible devices"("USB HID WH-1080, W-8681, WX-2008, Elecsa 6975, 265 NE", so it´s found allright), but I dont get any readings or sensor data in Meteohub. Tried to select my station in the drop-down box below to match the upper found station (is it right to do so?) but the webpage always gets blank white. Tried it several times, even after shutdowns and restarts but no luck.

A blank white page also appears when selecting the tab "Sensors". All over the meteohub application it says "Warning: No weather station selected", so I think I´m supposed to select it anywhere in there? Why am I getting these white pages on "Weahter Station" and"Sensors"?

Please help me, getting a bit desperate now........
Greatful for all help and hints!

Just make sure you have USB selected if it's an USB device and then click save.
Then you can jump to the sensors page and assign the right sensor and name them as you like and then click save.

That should give you some readings. (If I remember correctly)

I decided to take yet another new USB memory stick (this time 8GB) and start from scratch. It´s now up and running allright. Even tried a 30 GB USB disk, but the NSLU was not providing enough power out in the USB port I think. I just have to accept that the 4GB image is to big for a new 4GB USB stick. And thats wierd.

Thanks for your response!
