i just finished my weather site which is stationed in bleiswijk, the netherlands.
therefore the site is currently in dutch only but i'm working on that :P

i'm also working on a ajax-version of the dashboard which refreshes itself using javascript. have a look at it here: http://www.hetweerinbleiswijk.nl/actueel-overzicht
(it updates every 10 seconds, using a template)

the nslu2 is currently linked to the server using a wap54g as described in here: http://www.hetweerinbleiswijk.nl/apparatuur
graphs can be found here: http://www.hetweerinbleiswijk.nl/grafieken/barometer

this meteohub software is really cool! :B)

Hi there,

Nice web.... congratulations!

I have a similar system than yours.

Just a couple of suggestions, as for the gadgets:
1.- WMR-200 solar shield is not reliable. I resisted to this idea until I had to buy a DAVIS SOLAR shield. And IT REALLY makes difference. It's almost incredible...
2.- 9.8 mm for a RAIN COLLECTOR is(IMO) too small dimension. Once I added a 23.4 mm hopper on top, data is more accurate and real. At this point is needed to say if you change RAIN COLLECTOR dimension, YOU'LL NEVER see real RAIN DATA in WMR-200 display, such there is not any conversion feature (AFAIK).
So, this is intended for internet improvement data.

Here you can see both improvements

well the problem was that the station is only active since the last 3 weeks and not a single drop of rain felt ever since. today is the first day we got some rain, so i'll check with a few other local weatherstations today whether the rain collector is accurate.

and with the solar shield, you mean the shield that goes around the outside temperature-sensor? we explicitly put that one in the shadow because we didn't trust it either :P

thanx for your comments so far!

Hi There

Yes I agree, a very clean and well laid out site.

I have only had Meteohub+wmr968nx since December 2007. I have since added the RFXcom receiver unit, so that I can expand my system.

But this is a very long steep learning curve for me.
Right now the information is only for my interest, but I do at some time want to share this data. But first I have to master the running of Meteohub and its data, then start thinking of Web pages. I dont know about you guys, but when you get older things like this, seem to all up-hill. I am sure that I will get there though. One positive thing is finding this site and Boris's un-relenting work, everything is neat and tidy.:woohoo:

Anyway keep up the good work.

Sorry, I didn't see your posts till now.

Yes, I mean the shield which covers the temp sensor. In fact geeks say the sensor must not be placed in the shadow  . In order to have good (real?) readings it has to be in a clear place, where the sun heats all day. And here you can find the incredible accuracy DAVIS shield radiation provides.

Hi
Mmmmmm Dads eh!

I have a son but have lost contact with him, he is as clever as you, on computers. Maybe one day we will come back together, who knows. Thats another story.

Anyway keep up the good work for your father. Are you saying he does nothing now and just looks over your shoulder?

I have only two more years of work, so maybe I can sit down and give my web site some more thought.

regards

Great look!

How did you make the transparent diagramms? I hope it´s only a simple gnuplot format setting:unsure:
