Hi,
I have read a lot about temperature messuring and here in Belgium weather service (KMI) they use closed ventilated thermometerhut.
The inside demensions are 50 x 50 x 50 cm. (this is if you want go professional, for the hobbyist smaller wil do)
The temperature thermometer or sensor have to be 150cm above ground for correct messurement.
But the thing is that they use temperature corrections for each month of the year.
Here is the average temp. corrections for each month:
jan feb maa apr mei jun jul aug sep okt nov dec
max. temp.: -0,2 -0,4 -0,7 -1,0 -1,1 -1,4 -1,4 -1,4 -1,0 -0,5 -0,2 -0,1
min. temp.: +0,4 +0,4 +0,4 +0,4 +0,6 +0,6 +0,6 +0,6 +0,6 +0,5 +0,5 +0,4
(this data is taken from a professional source)
Mabe it's interesting to add this option (feature) to Meteohub so each month wil be corrected automaticaly.
This is just an suggestion!

Automatic Temperature Corrections for each month

Re: Automatic Temperature Corrections for each month
you can do this with calibration settings. although this will inflate your calibration screen with lots of settings.
Re: Automatic Temperature Corrections for each month
and also that would be a lot of manual work to do, for every month again and again and again.
I wonder:
Is it possible using
date
if ... then
within a Virtual sensor definition?
That would allow to define different virtual senors for every month recurring.
