you are probably right, if the IP-location is taken here, there can be big differences. But it would not make sense, because the correct coordinates are actually stored in the MB. But only Boris knows that...

Edit:
I have now stopped the data feed for the internal template. The system load of MeteoBridge increases from round about 10% to round about 30%. It is a nice feature for local checking of weather data, especially if the small problems are still solved by the developer (WU forecast, sunrise/sunset data --> coordinates dependent, which seem to be set wrong in the internal template).
regards,
Mike
You should open a new thread this is a rather large thread raising issues has far more chance to be dealt with in a newer thread. The internal NANOSD version has been modified by Boris therefore you should either contact him or open up a new thread.Dont forget Boris has a normal life and job so response times may be periodical ..(hint he is generally active late at night).

Update file 24-09-2020

New sun position modules with a new option in setup screen to use the file weather34-uv-sun.php

you have redesigned sun position module for those with out a UV sensor Solar Sensor

you have a new option if you have a UV sensor and Solar Sensor

original UV Index modules are unchanged.

ps for those in the know I tested NEGATIVE I simply had a bad dose of food poisoning that knock me of my feet for three days with high temperatures, shivering, musle aches and all the other things that come with poisoning ..(we live in fear and any unexpected change in symptoms you fear the worse ).

Hello, Brian,
That's ok. But I will probably not open such a new thread, because I don't really need the new function. I prefer the web based template, which has the nice graphics functionality.
My findings are already published here and a double entry here in the forum is not necessary in my opinion.
Best regards and stay healthy!
Edit: i have read your last post just in time.. Such food poisoning is really bad! I wish you a quick and good recovery, luckily you are already feeling better!

Hello, Brian,
In dark mode the new UV solar module looks good, but in light mode it is a blatant break with the rest of the design, in my opinion. As I prefer the light design I have activated the old UV module again.

Mike

thats why i left the original module in place leave it to your preferences and reference your nanosd comment , its better to engage and sort solutions not just for yourself but for all of us you help me ill help you then we can help everyone .

i can reduce the boldness of color in light mode and match it in color contrast .

torsten thank you, yes a rather panicked stressful 48 hours waiting for results , i have a family and its not just about me i have to think of anyway all is well ..ps three days of listening to Tangerine Dream is a therapeutic way of taking the stress away..TD fan since 1978..

I just reworked the contrast as the colors use HSLA so its just a case of adusting the transparency .hope thats better if not always can revert to original module..Brian

just download the update again and run it .have a good day

Brian,
thanks for your new fitting. The tastes are different and it is very nice that you try to find the right one for everyone! I am very happy with the template and I am very grateful for your work!
I wish you and your family that you stay healthy and don't have to be afraid to get infected again!

Edit: i have posted the found issues on new W34-local Dashboard for MB Nano-SD on a new topic in Meteobridge-discussion.. :) :)
regards,
Mike

Hi Brian,

I didn't know that you had been ill. Glad to hear that you are recovering. :D I've had that experience, as well, and it is no fun.

Brian,

I have a suggestion for a future update. I often have questions from "normal" folks who are unfamiliar with the PM values associated with the Air Quality. The color changes are great, but if a word (good, moderate, unhealthy, etc) was included, it would be helpful. I am not sure whether it could be worked into the small module - perhaps the larger one.

This is also the reason I prefer your original UVI module over the new one.

Take care.

Chuck

There is a wide variance on the friendly labeling of each AQI level: Polluted/Unhealthy/Poor/High etc.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_quality_index

A possible solution, is to have an AQI regional option choice in the console-settings. This would, in turn, affect the levels and names used in the DavisAQI modules.

@Brian, I'm happy to help collate this data and the parameters.

Ok Chuck ill do something tomorrow with Air Quality for purple air only large module , small may be possible but ill try.

Davis Air quality stuff is on hold Boris emailed me to say he will standardized it this weekend and so until then im not doing anything until I see what is going to be required.
Applying regional scaling is not a problem no different from applying kmh, mph,ms,kts, fahrenheit, celsius and so on just going to have to wait till .

for UVINDEX Chuck ill push this to GitHub later tonight before I goto bed. if its not any use the original is always there to fall back on .

Hi Brian,

No hurry, at all. Just "food for thought", for the future. I know it is very difficult to design within those space constraints.

Stay well,

Chuck

if the PM10 is removed from the purple air small module then it fits ok .

Yes. I like that better for the small module. :D You can then click the larger module for more info.
