Hi Brian,

The optional and default layouts are a nice addition. :D Did you decide to remove the Tool tips (layout definitions) in the latest update?

Hope all is well.

Good idea to choose the themes separately but.
layout definitions was a guide for the user who does not know what they are.

Hope all is well.

Hi Brian,

I have been checking out the sidemenu on mobile and I noticed a difference in spacing (padding) between the items. When I select the Alternative Tablet Layout or the original Basic Layout the Menu items have more spacing than when I select the Detailed Layout. The Detailed Layout menu spacing seems optimal because it allows more menu items before running out of space on the Mobile screen.

Not a big deal and maybe I am the only one that has too many menu items. I just noticed it since the new Layout Options choice takes a couple of menu lines.

Thanks,

Chuck

Good Morning Chuck

check your modification perhaps edit the sidemenu file that was uploaded to GITHUB yesterday. your units don't reflect the change to show tooltips see screenshot compared to Rons using the GitHub file . hope that helps..Brian

Hi Brian,

Ok. I did grab the latest Menu file and picked up the Units Tool Tips. It didn't have any effect on the padding between the menu items that I was referring to. I think this must be a difference in the css files between the the Detailed Layout vs the Alternative and Basic. Looks like there is more space between the Menu items on the Basic and Alternative compared to the Detailed Layout.

Its not a big problem - only effects the mobile version and I can always remove a few Menu items.

Thanks,

Chuck

ok chuck im not getting this one locally it is identical css for layouts, units section across the css files .. that said windy iframe is due for removal and rainviewer as future browser releases will block third party cookies , when they release this other iframe types that request cookies will get a default nag message from browser not template , bit like when https warning first started to appear, ive always said dont scrape wont scrape 😁 ..third party means when request is not requested by the original domain url i.e your domain or offsite request will be interesting how that reacts to those that use third party cloud scripts..anyway i will take a closer look his evening see if I can reproduce it and let you know..

The spacing anomaly seems to show up in all of the browsers that I have tried. Yes. I can hear the advertisers wailing already. :D
