Indoor heat readings increases with Nano mounted

The calibration thing as stated works as a charm towards anything that uses the data...

One question: Is it in any way possible to also calibrate the displayed value on the Console itself - i.e. for the console to display the calibrated value in stead of the raw sensor value

I'm still wondering if it's possible, although I guess it's not...

Wim - that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I still found it quite annoying with the 5C too high temp on the console.

There is also a temperature problem when turning the lights on from the Davis console.
When permantly lit, temperature also rises.

It's a development error by Davis.
For the right inside temperature, the temp sensor should be external of the console.
Otherwise inside temperature is an approximate reading, not an exact value.

When you make use of the Calibration feature shown in the picture below it is done as Wim explained. The display of the console will also adapt to this.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I'm curious about something.

I see two places under station to compensate for the Nano's heating of the console (I'm using a Weather Envoy, btw).

I see the option under "Configure console logging interval, rain collector, wind cup, date and time format" and then down below as a separate item "Indoor Temp Offset:".

I've had to use both (both -8F for the Envoy), but now the Nano shows the wrong internal temp (8F low, seemingly). I had to use both because a separate program, WeatherCat, pulls from the Nano over the network, and without setting the second one, it was reporting 8F high. =/

So, what is the purpose of one over the other?

When you do it in the section below where all the other calibrations are done it only affects Meteobridge. Therefor, on a Davis setup I would recommend the first option.

Cool. I believe my software that was pulling over 22222 was still showing unadjusted indoor temp until I also set the second one, but i’ll try re—unsetting it and see what it does.
