Data is coming in extremely strong (abt -20db) as Meteobridge seems to sit close to the retransmitting consoles.
Therefore, I reduced threshold to -30db (was former -65db) in order to keep rf noise out best. Signal still gets interfered a bit, but now >50% of events where the receiver tries to read a data packet is indeed a valid packet.

As you see on the live data tab below now data for the primary sensor (on transmitter id #2) is coming in and the second sensor (transmitter id #5) is also recorded as #5 data.

Another option is to select all transmitter ids (original and retransmitted) and raise the threshold to -90db. As you see the "receive retransmits" option in Meteobridge covers direct and retransmitted data.

Background is that receiving direct data can operate with tougher timings and more rigid frequency bounds while the retransmits from the consoles are a bit more sloppy. Using "receive retransmits" option in Meteobridge adapts to this sloppiness (which as a downside has some impact on picking up more rf noise).


From the 4 defined ISS only data from transmitter IDs 2, 4, 5 are received. I guess ID #1 is farest away and too weak to have its data directly received by the Meteobridge.

To best adopt to your setup you can go for ID2 (which is a retransmit from the not directly receivable ID1) and ID4 which is directly receiving your second ISS which is in RF reach of Meteobridge.


Results are as to be expected:

Regarding enumeration of sensors... The sensors tied to the first transmitter on the station definition page are assumed as being the primary sensors and are named "th0!0temp", "rain0!0total", etc (which are by default mapping also available as "th0temp", "rain0total", etc). This is to abstract from the transmitter ID being used.

In case of multiple transmitters Meteobridge needs to distinguish between those. Therefore, all follow-on transmitters have their sensors with the transmitter ID in the name (th0!4temp, rain0!4total, etc). You can always look up the sensor names on "Monitoring - Min/Max Data" tab by hoovering over the sensor names"


You can give "th0!4temp" a more easy name like "th1temp" (being your second outdoor temp sensor apart from "th0temp" which is the primary one) on "Station - Mapping" page.

As I wrote in the thread above, the Pro2 ISS station is closer to the meteostick (only 7 meters away), than the Vue station which is 9 meters away from the meteostick. So the Pro2 ISS signal is very strong and this is surprising, because the meteostick does not receive direct signals from the Pro2 ISS!

Note that the Pro2 ISS console receives -54db RF signals and the Vue station console receives -59db RF signals.(image) So the problem remains (unsolved) "why can't the meteostick receive RF signals directly from the Pro2 ISS station?".

No idea. Sounds massive illogical to me and works for hundreds of other users.

What is wrong with the solutions I provided? Nothing you can live with?

If you shut down down all the other stuff (Vue ISS, disable retransmits on Vue and Vantage console) I can try to get closer to what goes currently wrong with the Vantage ISS on ID#1.
