Well, the web configurator doesn't give me that option. I can login to the 505L via SSH and created a new meteobridge.conf via cut and paste from windows into vi and saved it. Rebooted and still end up at the landing page telling me to run the confivurator on the web.
I even tried loading it on a FAT32 formatted flash drive but rebooting the 505L with the flash installed can't find the flash drive as a mounted filesystem.
Any other things you can think of other than starting from scratch with a new install of the original v1.3 firmware

Whoops, 1 more issue
When using the link on the landing page to the configuration which creates configure.tgz.I now get a certificate error. Multiple browsers on multiple devices.

Well, after a week, I got it back up and working.
I was/am using a Dlink DIR-505L
when I got the failure issue, I followed procedures in the Wiki to recover since admin said the problem had been fixed. It may have been fixed, but it wasn't available to download yet (my GUESS) because rebooting the bridge did nothing but back to the rapid flashing green LED. The Wiki said to hold the side button until one green flash. I did that. Still meteobridge failed to start. So I returned to the Wiki and saw that to fully reset the DIR-505 (notice..no "L" after the 505) and it said to hold the side button until the green LED flashed 5 times and then release. DId that, still only got the "landing page" but none of the links worked. I tried tons of stuff. To make a long story short, after trying for a week, I read the DIR-505L manual. It said to fully reset the device back to "original firmware" which I hoped meant that back to the DIR-505L firmware where I could then re-convert it to a meteobridge. I used the reset HOLE on the front of the 505L. I held it in for 10 seconds. Rebooted it and suddenly, I got my local website back UP!
It was in it's first time start mode as if I had just done the original 505L.bin load (which I hadn't tried yet}. Well, the config file I had saved was when it was running 5.5 software, so I had it reboot as a 5.5 machine from the administration page, when in, selected my saved config file, it loaded it just fine, rebooted and was working! Everything was working! Even my upgrade license key was restored and I am good for another 15 months! So, I removed 2 uploads for systems I had put on weatherlink.com (which were still uploading fine) rebooted and everything came up, works great and is on v6.1 now!
so...admin...you may wish to redo the wiki page and to use the reset procedure (hold in for at least 6 seconds via the reset PINHOLE for the DIR-505L;
I am a happy meteobridge owner again!
