Another small issue I noticed while viewing the Console charts page if you use the back arrow at the bottom it opens an additional tab with Consolde rather than reverting back to the Console page.

I have slight overlaps in iPhone view.

Barometer with weather forecast, is that so?

HI brian,
Thanks for all your hard work, I just noticed that the date/Time in Header no longer handles DST.

ill answer all in one post one by one :-)

1.@K1TTC changed all apart from cm to inches in forecast will look sometime but unfortunately snow is non existent here last two years as it is on average above normal temperatures still in t-shirts during the day somewhat cooler at night so never see anything forecast to snow in the output.
Adjusted console forecast position to be lower in Firefox, changed action of back button in charts in alternative layout.
always resting mate only time I get tired is travelling seems to knacker me out these days so I end up like a vegetable for two days thereafter .
2.@Toto adjusted bottom toolbar to not be a fixed so it doesn't overlap on mobile screen.
Console forecast is English only and generated via meteobridge output very complex to translate for all languages so therefore it is fixed for English
I simply have no means to accommodate the translation in all languages supported for 99 or more possibilities , however I recall Piet did translate into dutch for his personal use so it is possible if you want to do it for yourself .unfortunately Piet is not active anymore due to personal circumstances .
3.@ Tony no idea nothing changed apart form using languages I wonder if that messed it up ?? normally does .
4. cleaned up charts and interval periods and validated the scripts .
5.adds wireless icon offline turns red if data not updated with in last 300 seconds remains blue for online

Any thoughts on adding a button or link on the console page to go back to the "Full Browser" site?

I'm also having a issue in my chartstoday.php updating regularly. I'm pretty sure this is due to my hosting provider. Any thoughts on what to look at on why it is not updating regularly when the php call is being made from the Nano SD? I'm suspecting it might some "hosted" internal security policies. From the logs it appears that the Nano SD request is hitting the website.

But if I hit that page from another browser, it immediately updates.

Just wondering how i can troubleshoot this. The hosting provider is bluehost.

Thanks for the help
Dennis

the alternative display was put together to use as a permanent display on a tablet with minimal use on a phone device however a simple link to desktop site can be added perhaps next week.

as for your daily chartissue either provide a url via pm but this needs to be double checked in the meteobridge itself . so double check you have the url correct to the chartstoday.php perhaps provide a screenshot of how you have it setup.

news :D

i wasnt expecting this much interest in the alternative layout and its purpose was just to display live data with a few additional bits to fill the gaps in the layout. i dont want do anymore to it other than clean up any anomalies which i think i got most of them with the help from many users on here and not so active forum users and this morning ran it through an extension that checks all the code so I think I will just leave it as it is now otherwise it will become congested and lose its original idea sometimes less is more , sometimes less is easy to use ... and I think Boris has decided this will be the new internal nanosd display and a big bonus because of its low resource and reduced file size in terms of taking up storage data space its may well be suited for meteobridge pro internally . the console package for the nanosd sent to boris this morning is less than 950kb in total . so overall continues in turning or maintaining meteobridge based nanosd and meteobridge pro into a very useful self sufficient device .

Dear Brian
I updated my site to the latest version.
I enjoy the simple alternative version and also the change of the more clearer look of precipitation intensity.

As seen on the webcam I have to trust the numbers on what it "looks like" outside most hours of the day, so clearer is better!

Hi Brian,

I just noticed that it looks like the values are reversed in the Wind Speed module on the console version.

Also, your shortcut favicon (Chrome Browser) went away in the latest update.

Cheers!

Chuck

OK. Got it. The favicon issue looks like a problem with the path for the icons in the consoledavis.php.

No problem - minor detail. I think its just the "-min" in the icon names vs the consoledavis.php.

Take care,

Chuck

Hi Brian,

When you have a minute the Snow Forecast under the WU Forecast is still showing as cm (Wishful Forecasting in our opinion ..lol) see Below:
