rain rate max only appears if there is rain greater than >0(zero) accumulated for the current day

Hi Brian,

Can you confirm that just a Meteobridge reboot (and not a firmware update) is all that is required to bring in the new API strings? Also that the API strings are backwards compaible with all prior Aurora releases?

I noticed that when it rains and therefore there is a rain rate,the maximum one disappears.Could it be kept visible all the time instead ?? thanks

sure we can tweak it to any preference however out of all the stations I have full access too none had any rain when compiling it over the weekend so if you can provide a url for me to collect some data from realtime id be happy to accommodate the request . if not just have to wait till one of the stations has some rainfall then I CAN TWEAK IT..

Another thing I am noticing is that the time of the maximum rate is wrong....

do you need the realtime.txt url ? If yes,how can I send it to you privately?

thanks I got however there is a problem with the time the API is generating a non recognized string which is not in the request I will have to liaise with Boris end of the week to see if we can resolve .see below the red string generated in the output is not what is being requested

the API string request is [rain0rate-dmaxtime--] but its generating a string output response [rain0!0rate-dmaxtime--] as opposed to a timestamp (example expected 20230529052007) in the MBrealtimeupload.txt .

Good morning I found the problem (my typo) with the rain rate day max time have sent an updated API to Boris this morning ..I have implemented the request of showing rain rate max / time

here are the scenarios shifted the rain rate phrase which only appears when it is raining with a rate if no rain you can see the scenarios of no precipitation etc..

Good morning

just some open answers to some emails received over the last couple of weeks that may be useful for others ...

1. after the recent API update api has broken the layout on version MB-x5 .

ANSWER:
this version is very old and is no longer supported or fully compatible with the current API or recent API changes over the last year or so.
However I am willing to help on that version where I can has I fully understand why it is still popular with non English speaking users. But support is limited so be aware if the answer is NO its not because I can't be arsed its just not possible.

2.Im using a version Aurora MK II version from January 2021
ANSWER:
Current Simple updates released are only compatible with template version from August 2022 or later anything prior to that date will likely result in a broken layout.

3. API update on Meteobridge devices just simply requires a reboot not a Firmware update.

4. Can I view my Meteobridge data on APPLE WATCH with template ?

ANSWER:
Yes simply DOWNLOAD,INSTALL a third party browser for APPLE WATCH from the APPLE STORE .
Parity is what Ive used over the years on Apple Watch 3,SE,7 and currently works fine on my current ULTRA should not really be much difference between models its simply all about using the latest watch OS... https://apps.apple.com/us/app/parrity/id1448208309

Simply bookmark it and the modules in the layouts appear in single column view and you can scroll down with the crown or swipe up and down to view each module.all themes are fully compatible.

5.Will you ever support Ecowitt additional sensors?

ANSWER: NO Simply have no understanding and neither the enthusiasm to get involved in complex setups that I have simply no understanding of....Sorry Big NO so please don't ask anymore.....

Adds dedicated Apple Watch simplified layout with new menu option please set the new setup option to use if required.

this layout also doubles up as a perfect mobile iPhone layout.

compiled using a APPLE WATCH 7 45mm also works perfectly on SE 44mm and Ultra should be no problem on any model with a 44mm screen.

I think everything else has stayed the same...works OK

think I understand ? are you asking for multiple screen layout simultaneously ? not really a good idea due to multiple resources probably(will) grind your server to a halt has always weather templates request multiple server actions and resources every 10 seconds unlike static websites so not a good idea for those specific reasons (some users do not have efficient servers / hosting packages and many have(low cost solutions) so they generally reduce the upload timing to 60 second updates or more .

update try next time making sure the zip file does not have file permission applied this is quite normal when using a MAC so next time just right click the zip file select Get Info on your Mac desktop or wherever you store it prior to upload and allow all users full privilages .
