hello i think thats because there is no snow value accumulation greater than 0 in the api output , checked your wuforecast.txt it had 0 value for accum and showed snow icon value . ive seen this with rain here locally icon value shows rain but no rain accumulation so in short Api data and nothing we can do to fix that .brian

Hi Brian,

My site is up to date with new charts as of 0800 EST. Nice addition to the alternative console. I'm considering dedicating an older ipad to the console in lieu of viewing the VP2's difficult to read console. The Alternative Console is a nice addition and I agree enough now ..lol

BTW I understand and can see the issue with the Snow in WU's forecast so far no real snow forecast for a few days anyway.

a bit of patience with the alternative layout charts for month / year ironing out a few discrepancies :-) but should be done in a hour or so . local met forecasting snow for istanbul end of year first time for a long time shame I won't be there new home region hasn't seen snow in decades :-( anyway may have a chance of resolving something

the alternative layout surprisingly popular was not expecting the interest and I got a low cost OEM console screen loaded up with android OS for $36 its nothing special just a plastic casing with 10" screen so im gonna build it into wall frame :-) . but if you already have an old 7' or more tablet with a IOS or Android then its good to go just beware some old Android based tablets don't go landscape no idea why .

I just noticed that it looks like the values are reversed in the Wind Speed module on the console version.

Also, your shortcut favicon (Chrome Browser) went away in the latest update.

Cheers!

As of 30th December I will close the GitHub repo and open up another repo for the app versions sometime in January.
For the template as promised all updates , fixes, etc will be done by the smart update screen as targeted this will be effective from 1st January 2020 so all future updates will be released via the template page under the template update box at https://weather34.com/homeweatherstatio ... smart.html

all updates will be a simple zip file containing only necessary files and you just use the update screen which is accessible via the setup screen panel at the bottom.this will make things one click and job done . the update screen also has the backup feature which you can use to preserve older versions if in the event go wrong in the update.all backups are dated and timestamped to ease identifying if you need to revert back to date.

there we are have a great new year and prosperous 2020 cya all sometime then...

Is it possible to export the history of e.g. the months April-November 2019 from NanoSD and record it in MB-Smart?

I wish everyone a happy new year and all the best for 2020!

I think you should be able to create a template for the MB-Smart csv format and then export the data on the HIstory tab.
Maybe somebody already has this template...

MB-Smart Month/Year csv format:
(date month-year-0)),MAX(Temp-1),MIN(Temp-2),MAX(Dewpoint-3),MIN(Dewpoint-4),TOTAL(Raintoday-5),MAX(Windspeed-6),AVG(Day WindSpeed-7),AVG(Temp-8),MAX(Barometer-9),MIN(Barometer-10)

Example of the csv record:
27 Dec,1.6,-0.8,-0.6,-2.8,0.0,7.2,1.4,-0.4,1032.2,1023.7

The month/year historical data are saved in the following files:
/weather34charts/<year>.csv
/weather34charts/<year>/<month>.csv

i.e.:
/weather34charts/2019.csv
/weather34charts/2019/December.csv

Note thath Weather34 also saves detail day csv data (for example 27December2019.csv) but I am not sure if these files are used in the historical graphs. As far as I know this csv are used just for current day charts.

Brian,

The latest update - moving the clock looks great - and now consistent with the both templates. One minor thing I did notice - The main template (US) shows the clock in 12 hour time and the Alternate Console shows 24 hour.

Take care.

good morning chuck

console alternative layout uses device time can be changed to 24hr or 12 hr just by a simple adjustment .alternative layout intended for OEM tablets etc so it was easier to compile a time script to use device time. (will post sometime in January to adjust between 24hr to 12hr)

also last night finally got around to updating the php version on my local Mac mini to php 7.4.1 amazingly faster than previous 7.3 versions.glad to report
I saw no anomalies.
new notification design layout was added to version 2.0 this morning, once again you can disable via the setup screen if not required.see below

*note all updates/fixes after 1st January are done by the MB-SMART update please keep an eye on https://weather34.com/homeweatherstatio ... smart.html update box for simple updates but lets hope there is none ..

*to all that have requested a feature via email/pm etc Im really sorry many of those require some thought and time, most of all weighing the overall use for everyone. * I detest scraping data especially in iframe and pulling down large images from another website this approach requires a lot of time to keep monitoring and going as you have no control over any external website not run by yourselves , they can change things, shift the url, some use extremely large GIF images that almost the same size of the website template so Im sorry its a NO from me but you are free to implement in anyway you want its your website at the end of day .
Even official API data can give you headaches at times so the best data is your data where at least you have some control or possibility to resolve :-)

have fun and look out for the apps sometime soon quite excited and happy about the outcome..Brian
