Hi all,
Is there a way to reset the settings password on a Meteobridge NanoSD(4.2-2795)?
Thank you
do you mean on the meteobridge NANOSD itself ?

yes albeit slowly but im not confident enough yet in releasing it until I personally really understand the code it’s somewhat different working with web templates where ive used css for nigh on 21 years but app code is all very new to me and better i understand it the less support i have to make time for.. but slowly bit by bit .. hang in there with a bit of patience.

hi can you provide a url so it is possible to check what is in the weather34charts/2020/Jan.csv
not backing up prior to update ?
overwriting the weather34charts/2020/Jan.csv ?
no public smart updates have been made only GITHUB gets updates for those who use a GITHUB application on a computer.

Hi Brian, thanks kindly for all your work.
Sorry been quiet for a while, been flat out with new house.
I installed latest V2 (and todays updates) I also modified the DST Clock issues I had.
Also noted (but not sure how to fix) the Console Moonphase does not have any Southern Hemisphere 180 deg Rotation !
Also created a purpleair-small.php to display on main index page.
I'm also still running a butchered WxSim on the current version too.

Kindest Regards,
Tony

Hello Tony
just in time

added reverse feature for moon..
Im sorry Ive not even thought about WXSIM but I will get to it sometime but to be honest I count two users in total so hopefully
you understand why the lack of focus .Piet was my main helper with WXSIM in the past as he was in a similar timezone but he no longer has any hardware
and has moved on to other things in his personal life..so always an underlying reason why things don't get done in a timely manner..
*Beware caution using the smart update it doesn't always actually update the files as one expects , there is a simple reason
some hosting services do not enable the php extension for zip libraries by default or install the library extension.
So basically nothing happens when using the smart update it doesn't do anything or even attempts to overwrite , there is nothing I can do about this . the extension needs to be enabled/installed by the actual hosting company .Unlikely you will have access to that level however if you have then google is your source of how to has it may differ based on type of cpanel etc installed.3 instances of this in last two days and checking server error logs this is visual in the error logs.
Or you may see at the bottom of the update screen a message
'Error: Your PHP version does not support unzip functionality' or
'Error: Your PHP version ZipArchive class is not supported or enabled
The console layout was completely re worked in terms of charts and how it handles non -metric , metric, uk mph with metric etc .
the simplest way is to just delete the existing console folder on your server and just upload the console folder only from the download .
All files were re written and it now has its own weather34charts folder .

hello thank you its not hard work just trying to make it universal as I can and understand exactly what the code does when it goes wonky.however at times what works for one goes a bit wonky for others , now having access to quite a few at server level gives me an early insight into what may appear.. hope your well and your hardware is surviving the windy periods.
i still get repeated requests for a cumulus version but im so out of touch now its a shame i learnt so much from those users over the years but in all honesty managing multiple versions is a nightmare and stifles ideas thats the benefit of just focusing on meteobridge based software dont have to worry about what if x and z dont work the same.. have fun and i had my first Guinness in 8 years over christmas forgot how heavy it is could hardly finish it my wife likened it to car oil

i quote her “lets keep a spare can for when oil lamp comes on in the car”..

Hi Brian,
Guinness - one of my favorites!
Just updated the entire console and everything looks great. I did try out the 1 - 15 - 20 zip update yesterday, but it did not overwrite the files. Odd because it has worked in the past. The status message looked fine and it did unzip the file on the server - just didn't overwrite the old files. Not a big issue, but I thought I would let you know.
Cheers,
Chuck
