hello you can use the update simple file or just replace the weather34-airquality.php file

http://www.mediafire.com/file/css9rkizv ... 0.zip/file

just tested with your PA ID 40453

Hello, Brian,
I have a question of understanding: You have pointed out that the Nano-SD-version should not run together with the stand-alone version.
I have a Nano-SD, in which the Weather34 template is already integrated, but which probably won't get any updates and is not as freely configurable. If I switch off this integrated template (set update interval to "none" in weather networks), can I use the standalone version on my external web server without overloading Meteobridge?
Thank you for the information and best regards, stay healthy!

Yes absolutely no problem providing you only use one version not multiple versions simultanousley .( yes I am going to drill that message home )

to setup Standalone Version 4.34 with 4 simple methods required to be set in the meteobridge services scroll down

https://weather34.com/homeweatherstatio ... alone.html

its that easy to be up and running . 4 simple steps .

you can also apply future updates/fixes using the updater in the bottom of the setup screen once installed full download . no need to go through setup and reinstall each time.

the updater just simply is a zip that is required to be uploaded to your server where template resides . the updater will find the relevant update file

all small update files are dated example current small update is named standalone-update-31-03-2020.zip

bonus make regular backups prior to updating or preserve your chart data for later use/transfer etc

full downloads always contain the latest updates/fixes

Hi Brian,
When I used the update function in setup selecting the standalone-update-31-03-2020.zip file 3 files did not update so I copied them over manually. After manual copy the Almanac is fixed.
weather34-updater, weather34-airquality, and updater-almanac
Thank You!

that doesnt make sense as the update file has more than 3 files , just tested here and everything updated as expected .. feel a server headache coming on :D .. can only test locally or on ICDsoft hosted server. 2 large amber nectars please ..

Sorry to bring it on .. :-(

The update process indicated it completed successfully but when I checked the Almanac after refreshing a few time the 2 modules were not appearing so I used winmerge to compare the an extracted .zip directory to my console2 directory and it indicated the 3 files were not updated.

BTW Winmerge and the github app are what I had been using to keep my version updated.

think Ive manage to replicate this locally it is my MacBook laptop when zipping up it creates a folder/permission . can you try this simple update

https://www.mediafire.com/file/css9rkiz ... 0.zip/file

it won't update anything apart from the info.html I can check from here if it works for you . the info.html currently on yours quotes
"Weather34 CONSOLE 4.34"
Console Version 4.34 https://weather34.com

if the update performs as expected
it will show
"Weather34 Stand Alone 4.34"
Stand Alone Version 4.34 https://weather34.com

info is viewed by clicking the bottom right copyright logo

Hi Brian,

I tested this and it works fine. However, I am on the same host as you, so Ron will be the best test.

My new Standalone url https://myrtleweather.com/console/index.php

Brian & Chuck,

Tried the new .zip and it did not update the info.html so I unzipped the file separately and checked the new info.html in it and it showed the new Stand Alone just to make sure I had the new info.html
My server is a Synology running their latest version Linux and DSM with their their Web Station app PhP 7.3

Hi Chuck,
I think that would apply if I was actually using the DSM Desktop to Extract the files. In my case the the server's web/console2 directory is being accessed from my W10 PC via Firefox.

Brian & Chuck,

This is my first experience or attempts at actually using the Updates process using a downloaded .zip via the setup screen. All my previous updating was done via github app to my Local Repository then Winmerge to my Web Server's directory.

Ron,

I usually use Git as well. There must be something about the Synology web server config. Perhaps the file permissions. Maybe try 664 and 755?
