thats ok thats enough to build a lightning module for you around ill either do it later tonight or in the morning and push it to github with the description ref chuck probably be one minor modification to the weather34-lightning.php file and one addition to setup screen to allow positioning in the last small areas .the charts for lightning will have to wait a week

Many thanks. No need to go to too much trouble, I can always just edit the console-settings file manually to put it in a lower position.

ok but I need a favor can you create some false lightning strikes so the month year is populated ??

tips to do that tap it with a screwdriver or kitchen knife a few times , run a drill a next to it or anything thats generates a spark .. mine I use a zippo lighter

Ok. I tried a few of the normal things. So far, no response. Last recorded strike was on March 24 at 17:38. I will try a few more tricks.

we need it recorded to meteobridge so im guessing 24th march was way before you connected it to meteobridge ?

or edit the live data screen with false numbers and edit out tomorrow ?

might need a couple sometime meteobridge doesnt record the 1st strike after a setup , i normally notice that after a reboot or initial setup

OK 2 more - 13:28 (1-5 miles) and 13:31 (0-3 miles)

I will be using miles. No hurry, anytime. Just trapped at home doing some projects that have been procrastinated.

the path is based on your post earlier mbridge2/MBrealtimeupload.txt

optional setup in positions 10,11,12

perhaps setup lightning charts next week ?

forgot too add you can use the weatherflow app/website go into the charts and calculate year total of strikes and then add it into the livedata screen under year total column..have fun..ps the distance same as all franklin type sensor is an indicator of how near storm is not that accurate just acts as an indication
