usually, if (after) Boris fixes issues, bugs, he comments in related posts.
There should be also a respective note in the release history at
https://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index. ... uage/Forum
This doesn't seem to be case for this issue yet ...

I changed the way Meteobridge stores and reports GW1000 lightning data. You can read here:
https://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum
Please give it a try.

Hi
I believe Brian has been in contact with you re my system and has given you my access details
I have just downloaded the latest build this morning and I am not seeing any lightning sensors in my system - I have generated some false strikes
Does this mean that my particular configuration wont ever work or is it still work in progress
Kind Regards
Graham

I would also like to thank Brian of Weather34 fame for being the instigator into getting this working and to adapting his template to show the data
Its all very much appreciated and It looks like its all sorted now

Thanks, we 'll see. My experience on the lightning sensor topic is that it is rather hard to have all parties happy

If the sensor is refreshed every minute the value of the o from the last strike is subtracted every minute !!
[lgt0dist-age:--]

[lgt0dist-age:--]
[lgt0total-nonzerotime:--] use strtotime to convert it to a human readable
produces

if you want timeago simply do a time now difference script to it
just make sure the lightning sensor related data is mapped to lgt0

The problem remains the same, it is a Meteobridge problem, updating the age of the last strike every 1 minute.

can you let us know in which context you have difficulties getting the proper information displayed !?
Sending data to which application, web site, template ?

Hi Boris,
thanks for the great work and finally closing the open gaps, including covering sensor constellations which are becoming more frequent due to the multiple station feature (e.g. Davis primary and GW1000 secondary not fully fledged station to provide extra sensor data).
I think that now that we have lightning total at and during the day of lightning occurrence, the distance connected with each strike, and the last strike/distance time stamp (=everything the consoles GW1100, GW1000, HP2551 and clones provide) - and that the information remains accessible, visible in the min/max view, all that was missing is available now.
What remains is more for the users to find the adequate "sensor-selector=converter.decimals:replacement" expression to select for reports or to post the values one is looking for to external locations. e.g. [lgt0total-dmax] etc.

your welcome Graham as always keep it simple , be friendly , be constructive your get results and positive outcomes , there is often a lot confusion or as I call it noise to wade through and ultimately it deters any enthusiasm to resolve or develop for.
anyway patience is a virtue all good comes to those that wait ..
