I set up Weather34 this weekend, and everything seems to be working well, except for the following: 1) WU forecast: I generated a new WU API key and installed it, but the forecast is for somewhere else. My WU station is KMNSARTE27. 2) Purple Air: I inserted my station ID, but the reading is way off and seems to be static. 3) The Airport METAR shows an airport in Hong Kong. I registered with CheckWX and received an API key as well as inserted my local airport's code. I also have checked all other settings for accuracy, but maybe I missed something? Wondering if anyone has suggestions. I have a Davis VP2 & WLL. Thanks. Bill

look if running stationcron.php on Meteobridge the forecast date is old: "Forecast Updated 30th Apr 11:29 am."

jmontamat: Thank you. I checked console-settings.php and the settings are what what I selected. What are "writing permits"? I don't see anything specific to that.

look at this I think the problem is here:
look if running stationcron.php on Meteobridge the forecast date is old: "Forecast Updated 30th Apr 11:29 am."
it is explained in the file:

Good morning, does someone work with weather34-updater.php with PHP 8.1.0 ? Does it return a blank screen?
With PHP 8.0.0 it does work.

**Fixed** I don't know why I didn't have the zip extension enabled in php 8.1.0 server stuff.

Looks like Purple Air has made changes to the API that kill the output in Brian's template. No longer using /json and /data.json urls.

thank you for your email this morning, as per reply in email which I guess will serve as a general answer to anyone else using purple air and the template.I no longer support the template or have any means to replicate or fix issues .No longer have a localized demo installed for the purpose of fixing issues , no longer have any necessary software installed for fixing PHP issues or upgrades.
I ask you all kindly to try and resolve amongst yourselves if possible, worst case scenario just disable purple air in the setup screen of template.
sorry but this can happen to any API based data not just purple air.expect other API services to do similar or completely disappear..

Hi Chuck,
A friend had just called me to report that my Purple Air had gone missing..I’d checked the hardware etc and saw that everything was working as expected, and came here to see if anyone else had the same issue.
Found your post & Brian's reply.
I have my PA device as an extra station in meteobridge so the data is still being saved within that, so I was wondering if there was anyway to leverage that info to appear in the template?
Wouldn’t have a clue how to do it though?
Graham (Woolfg) has the same issue he reported in another thread.

think thats a fair offer
in short all i need is someones purple air id and you will now have to obtain an API key like wunderground does etc.
possible FTP access via filezilla .there will be a new setup screen option in the purple air section to add your api key.
edit..confirmed i have purple air working (collecting data) just need to add additional setup option and test on a live site for a day..so someone send me some dart flights/stems mentioned above ill compile a simple update file. if not then work it out its not complicated..sorry i sound harsh but when you get your work abused and unethical users go down the “im not in breach of license terms “ then ill become unethical,unhelpful .so take it or leave it..

Question Can I send them fro Amazon direct or do they have to come via me?
As regards the PA problem, I don’t know what the others think, but as the Purple Air is connected to my Meteobridge via IP then it would to me anyway make sense to me to collect the data directly..
However it doesn’t support the CO readings, I asked Boris a year ago if it could and I got a very short answer…He doesn’t support experimental or home made sensors!
So in my case Id like to get AQI readings from the MB and the CO from PA, unless someone else can talk BP into it!
