No data through LAN Bridge with Acurite Bridge **solved**

Post by rgarza28 »

Hello all,

I just set up my Acurite 5in1 with the Internet Bridge. Using the Bridge directly through my home router my sensor data gets posted to the Acu-Link website. From their I have it forwarded to Weather Underground.

I bought the TP-Link TL-MR3020 unit and flashed it with Meteobridge software v1.4. I configured it to use the Aculink Bridge, LAN Bridge Enabled and wifi connection to my home router. Set up weather underground (to test, I'll be forwarding to other services once working) and hooked up the Acurite Bridge to the ethernet port on the Meteobridge unit. I get the Green check mark in the Select Station page for the station that I selected (Acurite: Internet-Bridge). I wait for a few minutes and check the Live Data Page and get the following messages:

Code: Select all

Weather Underground:	No weather network traffic
Data logger does not provide data. Please check that station settings are correct.
I check the Messages in the System page and have this:

Code: Select all

Figured it out. I could not ping the aculink bridge so I knew the router was not seeing it. I turned on the wireless portion of my gateway router and pointed meteobridge to it (before I was pointing a wireless bridge) and presto it started working.

I finally figured out the correct information to put into the email section on the "Push Services" tab so that now Meteobridge can successfully send email. On the "Subj # Body:" line, I am using the code listed below, and receive a nicely formatted email.
