Hi,

I have a problem with the reception of the data from my davis vantage pro with the meteostick. I receive data from the stick (20141127214215 thb1 214 30 0031 10087 -1 10087) but this is the local data, but i don't receive any data from the vantage pro which is receiving on ID 1 and 2 and give accurate data.
I've placed the stick in a pc and could communicate with the stick but again only local data.
this is the info from the logfile:

i've fiddled around with the settings, but couldn't see any progress.
Can anyone give some hints to solve this problem?

First you should do a firmware update of the stick by "http://ip-of-your-meteohub/cgi-bin/stickupdate.cgi".
Next please check the transmitter IDs, if they are chosen wrong no data will flow in. Are you using a EU vantage, or are you from the US?

How far away is the ISS? Are sou using the recommended USB cradle?

I'm using a EU vantage and live in the Netherlands.
The ISS is 10m away, the windstation: 5m with no obstructions
I've the meteostick with an usb cable away from the rpi.

Hello Sytze,

Did you set the correct frequency?
The stick / settings default to US frequency of 915 MH, should be changed to EU. Example screenshot atttached for Meteobridge.

Yes, i've tried both, but the frequency i'v now set is: 868MHz

Found why it is not working.
I'm using a davis vantage pro from 2001. This type is not working with the meteostick.
