I added experimental support for Oregon Scientific WMR-300 flagship station.
Historical data of the logger inside the station is not used. Implementation is based on sniffing the USB data, so there might still be a few bugs in there. Data from wind, rain, indoor and outdoor temp sensors are obviously received fine.
WMR300 support has been added today

Re: WMR300 support has been added today
Great stuff that support for WMR 300 have been added.
Downloaded and booted on Raspberry tonight, but I do not really understand how to "add" / select WMR 300 as the weather station?
(do one add an HID USB temp or ... ? Do not really see any option of adding Oregon WMR 300 ? )
Thanks a lot for any inputs to this !

Re: WMR300 support has been added today
You have to update to newest release (5.0i) on maintenance page with "update (auto)" function.
Re: WMR300 support has been added today
Thank You very much - I just discovered that the Raspberry image did not contain the newest version .....
Another issue, when I want to log on locally, meteohub username/pw does not work, what is the correct
logon credentials locally (or can You only have Meteohub running on the Raspberry pi (and not also use it for other programs... ?)
Update auto, did not work - so I had to upload the file via the public share, and then give the path....
( /data/transfer/myupdate.upd” into field “Software Update (File)” and press “install”. )

Re: WMR300 support has been added today
Meteohub makes a dedicated weather device of your raspy.
It is not meant to support other services.
You can that of course, but I will not give any support.

Re: WMR300 support has been added today
oK, thanks a lot for prompt feedback - I understand Meteohub is purposebuilt for only running "weatherdevice" on the Raspberry
(but for local login, will that be the same or why does not meteohub/meteohub work... ?
For instance to add a wlan adapter for use in the real setting / for updating sw on the raspberry etc ..... )

Re: WMR300 support has been added today
as explained in the handbook, login per ssh is done by root/meteohub.
I hope you know what you are doing. When you update the system, this will
have side effects and you are on your own.
