DIR-505 problems

I just started working with Meteobridge on a D-Link DIR-505. Everything went smoothly with flashing the new firmware and going through all the configuration steps, but when I connected to my weather station (Davis Vantage Pro 2), I got the warning message about needing a USB 2.0 hub. When I reconnected via the hub, everything stopped working. My wireless network crashed and I got ip conflict messages. I am unable to connect with the 505 - I get the black screen and then a connection time out error message. I tried following the "I misconfigured the network settings and can't reach it" instructions, but got the same result. Advanced IP Scanner does not detect it, and the network continues to crash. My computer runs Windows 7 Home Premium, and I have little experience with solving this type of problem.
