Trouble getting VantageVue/Ambient Weather WeatherBridge to

Hi,
I've recently purchased a bundle from AmbientWeather, including a WeatherBridge and a VantageVue. I'm having trouble getting RF communication established between the VantageVue and the USB stick. The stick is in a window, the VantageVue in the middle of the lawn, about 80 feet distance, with no obstructions. We're in a rural area, and there should be minimal interference at 915 MHz, although I haven't tested that.
Here's the log output I get in Meteobridge:
On the Live Data tab, I'm only seeing a single line "Rain 1h -60db rate 0.0mm/h".
The configuration on the Weather Station tab is: Meteostick: Vantage, US 915 MHz, RF Sens -105 dB wide, rain 0.2mm, with Station #1 set to Integrated Sensor Suite.
Any hints on what I could try? I did try out having the VantageVue indoors, right next to the receiver, and I did only see data every half our or so.
