BUG: wind0dir-val* no longer correct **solved**

Post by CyberMike »

Reading the change log, I see on July 3 the software was updated to change the Wind Direction algorithm.
In the Templates, wind0dir-act works properly.

However, wind0dir-val1, wind0dir-val2, wind0dir-val3, etc have stopped working, and just return 90 degrees at all times.

Checking wind0dir-min1, wind0dir-max1, wind0dir-avg1, they all do change properly as the sensor data changes. Only wind0dir-val1 et al is stuck at 90 degrees.

I obviously do use the wind0dir-val* series of template codes: every 15 minutes the Meteobridge sends me a snapshot of the prior 15 minutes, including 15 one-minute snapshots of the instantaneous wind direction at each minute.

Any news on this??
I've just encountered the same problem, using Meteobridge 3.1 (Nov 26 2016, build 10749), FW 1.4

I am also interested in this. I reported this as 'Template error after update' viewtopic.php?f=56&t=11390 on October 16, but had no response.

Thank-you very much for the fix!

I was starting to rewrite the scripts I use for my weather display to work around the problem, but not getting very far with it.

All working nicely now. Thanks.

Regards,

Stephen
