MBP with Cumulus or WsWin (PC-Wetterstation)

Post by Denislaw »

Hello,

1. I use a meteobridge with Cumulus, but my MBP doesn't work with it.
Am I doing something wrong or is it impossible?

2. Are there any progress regarding WsWin (PC-Wetterstation) to use with MBP (Dateiüberwachung)?

Thanks

When using MBP with internal RF module then data is processed in a different format compared to operation with a Davis USB data logger.
Pass-through of data from Davis data logger to a follow-on program like Cumulus can only be done when a Davis data logger is used with Meteobridge.

WSWIN Dateiüberwachung has been removed from the short list.

Is there any reason why WSWIN Dateiüberwachung was removed? Is it not planned to realize this feature at any time?

Die-hard WSWIN fans mostly already have a Davis logger and by that can operate MBPro by sharing the Davis logger via TCP/IP port 22222. Having this alternative, we spare doing the development effort (Dateiüberwachung is not easy to realize), which just a very few will benefit from.
