I posted this in the vantage sub forum with no love. I've not had any support from anyone via email or here. This is my last shot before I return this item as not working and try another route. In a nutshell....


I just received my meteorbrigde and am frustrated beyond words. All that is being pushed to wunderground and other services is rapid fire or "current conditions". I am not seeing any history, no hi or low as it related to temperature, wind speed / gusts anything on any service I'm pushing to yet the live data has good history to work from. I do no understand what is going on.

Can someone tell me what my issue might be? My logs looks ok, my setup and system is not returning any error messages of any kind. I have tried 2 different consoles with 2 different data loggers and the results are the same so I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) certain the issue is not with the weather hardware but something on the meteobridge side.

I have since re synced the time on my weather envoy but that has not made a difference. My time zone and baud rates are ok. I am at a loss and if I can't figure this out this device is going to be returned as this really isn't (and shouldn't) be this hard.

Anyone have any guidance?

Nope! My highs and lows worked for about 1/2 a day. Today it's no longer reporting once again. I think I'm just going to return this appliance. I've found a number of problems.

#1 The highs and lows do not sent reliably. So far 1 of the 3 days has actually worked.
#2 Inconsistent display of rapid fire results. It supposed to upload ever 5 seconds and I suppose that happens but WU show it as 5 seconds then the next update say 4 mins and 5 seconds later is say 7 seconds then 5 seconds then it says 2 mins. If you sit parked on my page I would expect the display to continue to update like it always did with my last appliance but it does not... my data just stops.

I am confident in my network and my setup. This thing just does not seem ready for prime time.

Your email has been answered on October 4, same day you did send it to me. So please get your communication working before complaining.

When you inspect data on WU at (https://www.wunderground.com/personal-w ... 006/mdaily) you see that data is uploaded fine. The problem you are facing here is that the WU widgets doe not work properly. Please address your issues there. You might have analyzed this yourself, by checking other weather networks that are fed with your Meteobridge which show correct data.
