Rain not being recorded from Davis Vantagevue **solved**
Posted: Sun Oct 30, 2016 8:24 pm
It is raining cats and dogs as show on my Davis Vantage VUE console, but my airbridge (meteohub) displays "0.00in/hr"
I believe that the issue is with the Meteostick firmware and with with the airbridge RF sensitivity with respect to recording rain correctly.
I have tried many different settings from -60db to -105db (trying normal, wide and narrow) and no rain is recorded.
Also, on boot, the logger is showing a "unknown command" each time it starts.
As you can see blow, if the RF Sens. is too high or low, you can see that the meteostick reboots because there is no RF signal.
"restart meteostick (302 secs no valid rf signal)
Is anyone else having this problem?
