Twitter Upload Error **solved**

Post by Kurt »

Hi,
When I try to upload to Twitter, I get an error message. Does anyone know how to fix this?
The error message is:
"2016-12-20 08:51:52 Error: sed: unmatched '/' can not decode tweet (bad character) (no more tries)"
My template I'm using is:
"The local time is [H]:[mm] [APM]. The temperature is [th0temp-act=F]F. The humidity is [th0hum-act]%. The dewpoint is [th0dew-act=F]F. The heat index is [th0heatindex-act=F]F. The pressure is [thb0press-act=inHg]inHg. The wind is [wind0avgwind-act=mph] gusting to [wind0wind-hmax=mph]mph from the [wind0dir-act=endir]. The wind chill is [wind0chill-act=F]F. The rain is falling at a rate of [rain0rate-act=in]in/h. The total rainfall for Today is [rain0total-act=in]in. The UV index is [uv0index]."

The error message clearly states the it cannot handle the "/" character. Why not removing it from your template?

Check also you do not exceed the number of characters that twitter will accept, I think this is 144
