WeatherCloud Uploads - No Heat Index Data **solved**

Post by prestwickwx »

I am using a Vantage Pro2 Plus with MeteoStick. I am not seeing any Heat Index data being reported to WeatherCloud. Is this data included in the upload?

Thanks,

I see that the Meteobridge Heat Index variable is th0heatindex. WeatherCloud.net support says:

"If your weather station model does measure heat index and you have enabled this parameter on Weathercloud, it means that the Meteobridge software is not uploading the data to our platform.

In this case, you should report this issue to the Meteobridge so they can fix it."

If the data is being uploaded, perhaps WeatherCloud is not capturing it.

Boris,

I have received more information from WeatherCloud.net. They are apparently looking for a variable named heat
for the Heat Index value. See below.

-------------------------------------

"The variable that Meteobridge needs to upload is heat, which corresponds to the heat index.

We hope this helps.

Regards,
The Weathercloud team"

heatindex is not uploaded to weathercloud. I can add this if needed. Can you please send me "info(at)meteobridge.com" a complete upload specification, may be more things can be added.

I found version 0.6 of their protocol from 2015 in my archives, but no heatindex mentioned there. I also just wrote them to send me the current specs. I can't find anything on their web pages. We ll see...
For the moment I added then parameter "heat", may be this already solves the issue. Please reboot and give it a try.

Boris,

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. The Heat Index upload to Weather Cloud is now working fine.

Thanks,

Chuck
