Decided to re-load the firmware on my MR3020 after having some issues. Found and loaded the newest version 1.5 successfully, but it's now stuck on the landing page, which shows the following status after multiple reload attempts:
IMAGE LOAD PROTOCOL:
--2017-09-13 16:03:29-- http://download.meteobridge.com/cgi-bin ... AbMgEiJfDo
Resolving download.meteobridge.com... 88.99.105.253, 2a01:4f8:10a:f98::4711
Connecting to download.meteobridge.com|88.99.105.253|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response...
Occasionally it will show this:
IMAGE LOAD PROTOCOL:
--2017-09-13 16:09:57-- http://download.meteobridge.com/cgi-bin ... AbMgEiJfDo
Resolving download.meteobridge.com... 88.99.105.253, 2a01:4f8:10a:f98::4711
Connecting to download.meteobridge.com|88.99.105.253|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 0 [text/x-perl]
Saving to: '/tmp/image.tgz'
0K 0.00 =0s
2017-09-13 16:09:57 (0.00 B/s) - '/tmp/image.tgz' saved [0/0]
Which looks to me like it's downloaded a 0 length file. It then goes back to displaying HTTP request sent, awaiting response.
Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.
MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload **solved**

Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
That newest firmware 1.5 was to fix the latest TP-link version boxes, not sure if 1.5 should be retro-fitted to the older boxes that worked with 1.4?
Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
1.5 is the only version available on:
http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/P ... g_Hardware
and the notes do not not say anything about not loading it on older versions of the MR3020.
If it were incompatible, I would think that the device would not boot at all, mine boots but is stuck trying to download an image file.
I ssh'd in and found the /tmp/image.log file, it's just filled with:
--2014-01-12 02:51:49-- http://download.meteobridge.com/cgi-bin ... AbMgEiJfDo
Resolving download.meteobridge.com... 88.99.105.253, 2a01:4f8:10a:f98::4711

0K 0.00 =0s
2014-01-12 02:51:50 (0.00 B/s) - '/tmp/image.tgz' saved [0/0]
image.tgz exists but has a size of 0 bytes.
It really looks like this file does not exist or is wrong on download.meteobridge.com so the meteobridge image never loads which is why I'm stuck on the landing page.

Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
Is your internet connection all good?
Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
Yes. Everything else in the home is able to use the Internet normally.
Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
Your server, at least the one used to log onto your meteobridge from the internet is down.

Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
We had problems loading older SW versions (3.3 and older) for TP-Link MR3020 Meteobridges flashed with new firmware 1.5.
But this is solved since yesterday.

Re: MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload
Thanks!
I plugged my MR3020 back in and it was able to download the image and come online. It ran reliably for so long that I had not even noticed my license to get updates had expired, renewed the license and I'm now running 3.4.
