MR3020 Stuck on Landing Page after FW reload **solved**

Decided to re-load the firmware on my MR3020 after having some issues. Found and loaded the newest version 1.5 successfully, but it's now stuck on the landing page, which shows the following status after multiple reload attempts:

Occasionally it will show this:

2017-09-13 16:09:57 (0.00 B/s) - '/tmp/image.tgz' saved [0/0]
Which looks to me like it's downloaded a 0 length file. It then goes back to displaying HTTP request sent, awaiting response.
