Looks like the server does not provide SFTP. Did you try with a PC client to identify root cause?

With FileZilla it goes.

When you give me remote access I can check details. Filezilla does support lots of protocols. Are you sure you are not running FTPS there (which is FTP over TLS instead of SFTP)?

I don't see any SFTP services defined. You have to replace the existing FTP requests by explicit SFTP ones. SFTP is a different service category.

When I configure an event with SFTP, my system spins completely.

As the error message tells you "/www/wetterbrienz/meteobridge/" is not a valid path regarding the home directory of your SSH user. Paths are not to be expected the same when using SSH or FTP. I prefixed your path by a "." to tell the system that it should start descending the path from the user directory and not from root and then it works.
