Issue: rain total incorrects values

Post by websign »

Hello to all. I'm having problems with my meteobridge pro. Yesterday there were problems with the total rain of the day [rain0total-sumday]. he total suddenly was wrong, much less than the sum of the rains of the day. The rain values for the individual hours were correct.
I edited the values of the individual hours without changing the value, and the total of the day is back ok.

Today, however, I have a new problem. The total rainfall of the last 24 hours [rain0total-sum24h] is wrong. It seems that the value counts only today's rain and not the rain of the last 24 hours.

Is there a problem with the database? I also used the "Reconstruct database" function but it did not change anything

Thanks :)

I also used the "force rebuild on reboot" function, rebooted the MB Pro, but the problem is not resolved... :-(

IIRC, I believe the counter resets at 00:00 - so it only counts the amount of rain since 00:00 (midnight), not the previous 24 hours from any point in time.

I have 2 meteobridge pro. One correctly calculates the total of the last 24 hours with [rain0total-sum24h], the other not :(

So do you think this is a MB Pro issue or a user issue?

If one of the 2 MB pro works correctly, then it's a specific problem of just one, probably on the database.

The same MB Pro also had problems with incorrect rainfall daily values :(

I would like to see if there is a way to solve these problems...

So 2 identical MB Pro's, same age, same firmware version, same config, same settings, reading the same sensor source etc

I have also a problem with the rain total.
When i look at the live data page the rain total(daily) is 4.6mm.

But when i look in the uploaded clientraw.txt the rain total (daily) is 4.4mm. Clientraw files are uploaded every 30 seconds.

When i reboot my meteobridge pro everything works oke.

I did some tests.
I saw that the clientraw.txt is not uptodate with the rain total. It is a few steps behind.

Now the rain total is 0.6. But in the clientraw.txt the value is 0.4 for almost 1 hour.

Did more test.
All values in the clientraw files are updated and correct. Only Rain total (clientraw7) not.

Now 2.8 mm in clientraw file. In meteobridge Pro (live data) 3.6mm

And now more problems...

See the log:

database (27.11.2017 07:01:27): cannot insert into rain0rate_hour (after 0 tries in 1ms): database or disk is full

Anyone can help me?

Thanks

Can you give me a login?

Does "system" tab show that storage is exhausted? If so, what do you store there?

did more testing.

raintotal in Clientraw.txt is updated once an 1 hour. Not realtime.

So raintotal(clientraw7) in clientraw.txt is always 1 hour old.

In the Live Data tab the values are correct

I have the same 1 hour delay.

I use the clientraw.txt to update a Davis Vantage Pro Console photo with live data, and can see that the "Daily Rain in mm" only update once an hour.
