Bad th0(0) sensor data, "humidity" (255) out of range **solved**

Post by Medor »

TL-MR3020, no USB hub (I know it should have one), with Davis Vantage Pro2.

I get this message at boot :
logger (01.02.2018 07:23:50): transmitter 1 active as station type (#0) "ISS".
logger (01.02.2018 07:23:50): transmitter 2 active as station type (#7) "Soil".
logger (01.02.2018 07:23:50): firmware version request sent.
logger (01.02.2018 07:23:50): firmware version 3.00
logger (01.02.2018 07:23:50): no reading of Vantage's internal logger.
logger (01.02.2018 07:53:13): Bad th0(0) sensor data, "humidity" (255) out of range [0:100]
logger (01.02.2018 09:34:37): message above repeats 223 times.

The "live view" screen shows normal values: indoor 70%, outdoor 80%, soil1 19cbar, soil2 19cbar.
Data sent to weatherunderground seems Ok.

Where would that error come from ?

Error says said that like outdoor hum sensor is reporting invalid values. May be it is not connected correctly?

I assume we are speaking about the humidity sensor in the outdoor Integrated Sensor Suite.
If it's "not connected correctly" and throws a repeated boot error, how is it possible that the reported values are in a reasonable range (reported between 80% and 95% today) ?

It was a physical connection issue.
