On System tab set Version control to 'get newest on boot', then Reboot. After update you may then want to set version control to use current version so as not to automatically update new firmware whenever the bridge is rebooted or repowered.

Is it possible to stick to latest version?

Running Meteobridge 3.6 but I only have "Stick to version 3.5" Cant see any "current version".

Until version 3.6 is "closed off" then it will not show in the drop down box, 'use installed version' will continue to use the particular sub set (date/build) of the newest version (3.6 in this case at the moment) until you decide to 'get newest version on boot' which may be an update within 3.6 or once 3.6 is fixed then the newest version will be 3.7 date/build? which at this point now have the option to stick to 3.6 and installed/latest version could now be 3.7 something

Ok.
So I can not update and chose stick to latest version since updated version is not in the list (with the latest version).

I dont have the "use installed version"

Latest version will be downloaded from the internet when you restart your Meteobridge.

we released about a hundred versions since start and don't make all them sticky. When a certain amount of new features/fixes has been realized we decide to make a new formal version. You can stick to those formal versions, not all the smaller updates in between.

"use installed version" needs a USB stick to be attached (Or a Meteobridge PRO) as the Meteobridge has no permanent storage to keep that version on its own.

Do you have "try USB first" as a option?

I have USB-stick connected. Dont have "use installed version" but "Try usb first", guess that must be the one to use.

From the beginning
....what is the procedure for update new version of meteo bridge?....
Set version control to 'get newest on boot' then Reboot (re cycling the power does the same thing)
The System SW version will be displayed in the System panel which will be the latest as that is what you requested the MB to do.
Is it possible to stick to latest version?
Running Meteobridge 3.6 but I only have "Stick to version 3.5" Cant see any "current version".
A completed version yes as it will show in the Version Control:
The latest version is typically a version in progress which will have a Date/build within the version hence it is essentially not the latest version (as such) but part of, a version but yes you could effectively stick to a part version as long as your unit doesn't have a power failure. To stick to the latest version (version in progress) then doing a reboot/repower whenever a part version is released will give you the "latest version". It is really how you manage the version updates in this regard.
....sorry reboot what? ....
Reboot your MB, or repower will follow the rules you set in version control
