Meteohub Update 2.5 and USB Stick Images 2.5

The changes of the last weeks have been put together into version 2.5 that is available as an update and as fresh USB stick image.

Version 2.5 extends unlicensed demo mode until 30th September 2008.

If an user has already updated to 2.4a, is there need to update 2.5?

2.5 contains all changes of 2.4e, 2.4d, 2.4c, 2.4b, ...

Please read the individual announcements to get an idea what has changes since 2.4a.

yesterday i made a stick-update on 4 GB from v2.4e
to the new 2.5

could u check please, why i lost the "locale.upd"?

older restored graphics with locale show me an error.

i fixed that with locale.upd fromm my hdd...is it missing in the 2.5-update.

Good point. You can install the language pack by the following two steps:
1) install update 2.5a
2) install file-based "/root/locale.upd"

After that language support is ready again.

As an alternative USB stick image 2.5a can be used that already has this installed.
