Possible Newbie

By way of introduction I have been running a weather station using a Davis Vantage Pro2+ for about 10 years with earlier weather stations before that. I have always used Weather Display software with a PC running 24/7. I am now on my 4th PC and the low power of a meteobridge appeals to me. Currently my ISS communicates wirelessly to a Console in my lounge and wirelessly to an Envoy with a logger (initially a serial but now a usb).My router is in the same room as the envoy. There seems to be three versions of meteobridge (nano, black and red). I am tempted to go for the red version if only to bypass the envoy and as an insurance policy should that ever fail. I have just introduced a trial Meteotemplates on my website so I would want this to continue without too much interruption. Am I on the right lines - has anybody else have gone through this change of hardware?
