Update 2.5a fixes a bug that prevents the "myweb" folder of USB stick image 2.5 to be used and provides the code for the language pack update that can now easily be installed by file-based install of "/root/locale.upd".

USB stick images 2.5a have the language pack already installed and the "myweb" bug fixed.

To perform update 2.5a on versions before 2.5, please first update to 2.5, then as a next step to 2.5a.

All coming updates will need update 2.5 installed.

I have succesfully updated to V2.5 B) , but I have now a problem with the next step: Update to V2.5a.

Option: Software Update (File) /data/transfer/update-v2.5a.upd
Message: File "/data/transfer/update-v2.5a.upd" successfully transferred. Error: Update cannot be extracted or installed.:S

What is going wrong? I have already rebooted and tried agian, but with the same result. Do you have a solution?

Just fixed that bug in update 2.5a. should install now fine.

yep, web-based install was still not updated. fixed that. should work now also with web-based update.

Updating from 2.5 with web-based install I had the "Incompatible version thing too". Downloaded a fresh 2.5a update. That went in fine - but the System Info page still shows "Version 2.5".

Is that right?

Version 2.5a shows 2.5 in my system ... too.

While working on 2.5b with weatherlinkIP support I noticed that 2.5a doesn't install as expected. Sorry for the confusion.

2.5b fixes all this.

mhmmm to all...

i've got a v 2.5b with the help of a yesterday 2.5a-stick.

but...now there is the former rekursive myweb/update,
myweb/update again, meanwhile with a hell lot of 81 directories.

Could you please check that please, or is it only on my machine?!
