Iso template

Post by oudmans »

Hi, Ron from Holland here.

I am new to the MB pro red but I got it to work, even data upload to my own website
I only wonder one thing:
Is it possible to modify the data of the iso template?
I would like to add some more data to the template

Thanks in advance

For sure, all the templates are only text files and can be edited/changed to whatever you want them to be. I wouldn't change the original examples, make a copy and you can also name it how ever you want.

you can mount the needed folders from your PC as network shares.

So what you are saying is to make a new template and put it on a different share. Am i right when i say that i only have to make a new service in Meteobridge that points to that share? If so, how can i select the data that i want in the template? Thanks again.

Not exactly. You mount the share, navigate to the templates folder and there you store the new template. Now Meteobridge web interface allows you to select this template when defining a data export job.

\\your.mbpro.ip.address\data\templates where your.mbpro.ip.address will be your actual MBPro IP address, as an example something that looks like 192.168.2.12

1) Mount the Meteobridge PRO as a network share from your PC (as Mattk gave an example for). If you have allowed guest login ("System" tab of MB PRO), you can do as guest, otherwise user is "meteobridge" and password ist the SMB password you defined on "System" tab (can differ from HTTP password!).

2) On the network share you find different folders, the "templates" folder is the one to look into.

3) Make a copy of the "standard-iso.txt" template file and work on that.

Hi guys,
Mounting went well, copy of the iso template to my local drive also also.
But i think that I mistakenly thought how to make the new template.
First, i opened the standard iso.exp in notepad++, but i noticed that a file couldn't be saved as .exp, so i just saved.
I thought because you could only receive the lastexport.txt by mail that i had to adjust that to.
Anyway, that didn't work and i put the original files back in place. (at least i thought i did)
After that i noticed that de lastexport.txt didn't fill with data anymore.
Also noticed that the standard-iso-2018-hour.txt hasn't filled up from yesterday after 10 'O clock and that i didn't touch at all.
Any ideas what i did wrong? Is het possible to send me the origanal files so i can replace them.
I adapt the lastexport, lastexport.exp and the standard iso template
Ik you want you can check my meteobridge, it can be reached from outside.
If so, you can mail me to info@weerstation-daalhof.nl, then i send you the link with username and password.
Hope you can help me out, i already hit myself for my stupidity.

standard file are replaced with originals on each boot. So just reboot and you should be fine again.

"lastexport" and "lastchart" are not files but symbolic links the Meteobridge does use to point to
the latest generated export or chart. So please don't take this as name for your definition.
Any file ending with .exp will be shown on drop-down list as export template. It might need a
page reload in your browser to have it listed when you added it freshly.

Hi experts,
Again a probleem.
The standard iso template doesn't refresh the data anymore.
November the 11th was the last time, since then every day i get a mail with the data from the 11th.
I even did a complete factory reset but even that has no effect.
Any suggestions what i can do more?
Thanks in advance!
Ron
