Is your email setup correctly on the bottom of the services page and when you click the <Test Mail> button does it work?

Does email sending in general not work for your specific email credentials on 3.8 or is just sending of this particular email not doing as expected?
I doubt that 3.8 can do less in regard to email than 3.6. But you never know...

I have now created a test event with my e-mail. Can test it that way?
First with version 3.6. Works wonderfully.

Then update to 3.8. And it does not work here.

Have something forgotten. At 3.7 it works too.
