FTP WDL files.

Post by ConligWX »

Hi. New to this Meteobridge and just wanted to clarify that the Weather-Display ClientRaw Parser site shows the same issues I see.

goto: https://www.tnetweather.com/wdparserold/index.php

enter your website url that have the FTP WDL files in them.

Data from Clientraw.txt = Note: Your WD Files are shorter than newer versions
Data from Clientrawdaily.txt = Note: Your WD Files are shorter than newer versions
Data from Clientrawhour.txt = Note: Your WD Files are shorter than newer versions

Data from Clientrawextra.txt = seems to be correct.

does anyone else see the same issues with these 3 files?

I know it maybe just cosmetic and not affect most, but just curious as to what data is missing.

https://saratoga-weather.org/wdparser.php

shown no errors so not sure which one is correct/newer

The clientraw files were 100% designed to fit the purpose of the "weather display" program and imho grew to a total mess over time. There are hundreds of values just blank separated in each of the 4 files. Meteobridge does not support all of its fields and may be does not cope with the very latest additions.

Looking for perfection in this area will disappoint you for sure ;-)
